John's Cause - Help Me With My Paralysis
Help me with my paralysis I'm trying to raise $40,000 for a spinal cord treatment in europe.
The Story
This is NOT a joke or made up cause. My name is John and I will explain what happened. Nov 4th 1994 I was sitting on the railing of my 2nd floor apartment having a drink and a cigarette. I made the drink WAY too strong and right after I sat on the balcony I passed out and fell off sideways about 13 feet. The first impact was on my right knee as my body spun around, which then shattered(ouch), then as my body twisted and impacted, the torque shattered the sixth cervical vertebrae in my neck, c6. If you've cringed yet, this is where it gets good.My girlfriend at the time(now ex ), heard the glass I was holding, shatter. She looked over the balcony and saw me laying there then came downstairs and outside. When she saw the blood coming out of my head, she sort of freaked out. She flipped me over then dragged my body through two doors then up the flight of stairs in the apartment.Halfway up she realized her Faux Pas and dragged me down the stairs and BACK outside. The end result, besides being the afore mentioned damage, the 5th cervical vertabrae was dislocated and pulled out of place also causing some nerve damage to the c4 level. I am a quadriplegic.The center in Germany that I am trying to go to has very strict laws on how stem cells are obtained, they are NOT extracted from aborted fetuses, by German law.I don't know your religious views but any donation you could make would mean the world to me. About Stem Cells
